New Daylily Collection

A new Daylily collection was added to the arboretum in the spring of 2005.  The plants came from the garden of the late Jerry Jensen, who had one of the largest collections of Daylilies in Northeast Nebraska.  The 29 plants were donated in memory of Jerry by his wife Jan and children Jake, Jeff and Jodi.  The Daylilies are located in the southwest corner of the arboretum near Pierce Manor.

Our Northeast Nebraska Art Association will be coming to paint on site {Plein Aire July 17th. You have campgrounds at the park, is there a charge to stay over 1 night 17th in a self contained RV or if someone wanted to come that needs electric, water, is there a charge?

Thank you for your help, can’t wait to paint!. Sincerely, Jeri Volk Norfolk.

Jeri, we charge $10 per night for camping. We do have electric and water hookups and also an 0ff-site dump station. Showers are available at the swimming pool. We don’t take reservations as it’s strictly first-come-first-served. There are four pads and they are very seldom all filled. Let me know if you need anything.
